There are no individual sign-up times — report with everyone else and the whole company auditions as one.

This year we're conducting auditions in the "cattle call" style once again. Everyone is present at the same time — we dance on Tuesday, then everyone reports to the PAC to sing and perform an acting piece on Wednesday. Callbacks are held Thursday.
Perform a monologue or short segment from the play (found in the audition packet). Each piece is no longer than a paragraph — fairly easy to memorize. You choose which one to perform.
At callbacks, the director may hand you other scenes to read on the spot. These won't require memorization, but familiarity helps. Be ready to read parts you weren't originally called back for.
Choose a selection that fits your voice well — don't worry about whether it's "for" a specific part. You're auditioning to get in the show, not for a role.
Short sections of specific numbers are provided depending on the parts you're considering. Learn the song and perform it for the director and music director.
Everyone auditioning for the show needs to report to the PAC by 2:30 PM on Tuesday. The dance audition starts promptly at 2:45 PM and should run no later than 5:00 PM.

Most rehearsals run Monday–Friday, immediately after school (not every role attends every day). Tech week carries into weekends; dress rehearsals run into the evening.
Vocal lesson conflicts are handled case-by-case — primary roles should schedule lessons to miss minimal rehearsal. Exemptions are limited to once a week and must be pre-approved.
Talk to someone who has the power to help fix it. We uplift each other.
Learn your parts, rehearse, stay focused. This isn't a social hour.
Cell phones should not be out during rehearsal.
Take direction only from the appropriate director / vocal director.
Costumes require a checkout contract; actors cover character shoes and other personal items. Scripts are physical — bring a binder if yours isn't already bound. Show sweatshirts/hoodies run around $35 (the show shirt is included in the cast fee for cast members).
Required for anyone cast who hasn't been in an LSHS musical before (optional if you were in last year's cast).
